Off-street bicycle trail - non roadside

Off-street bicycle facilities are separate from the motor-vehicle oriented roadway and typically along multiuse paths or trails. The trails may be adjacent to the roadway, or a trail on an abandoned railroad right-of-way, or other separate facility such as through public parks. If an off-street bicycle trail runs next to an arterial street, it is a roadside bicycle trail. Otherwise, it is a non-roadside bicycle trail.
