Bikeability Checklist Resources
Bicycling can be a great way to integrate activity into your life. But because cyclists share the road with motor vehicles, biking can also pose risks. Many measures can be taken to improve safety and convenience and thereby encourage more use of the bicycling routes in your neighborhood. The following Web site links have been compiled as a companion resource to a bikeability checklist created by the Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center with funding from the U.S. Department of Transportation, and as adapted in an interactive web feature by The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
