This design guide is intended to aid with the development of bike lane design relative to the surrounding urban context. The recommended widths of travel, bike and parking lanes are derived after traffic levels, topographic conditions and on-street parking turn-over is taken into consideration.
Included is an evaluation template, which can be printed and used to grade a specific bike lane.
